Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive core knowledge base of aesthetics treatments and procedures routinely provided in medical spas through a combination of didactic and practical hands-on training to fully prepare licensed aesthetic practitioners to advance their skill level and career to the next level.
Over the years the popularity of non-invasive procedures such as microneedling or dermal fillers has grown substantially, our goal at Prima Advanced Aesthetic Academy and Skin Care is to meet the increasing demand for proper training in these medical aesthetic procedures.
By offering the theory portion online, this allows participants to attend at their own pace. Our hands on training provides the opportunity to understand all aspects of each cosmetic treatment by working on models with real product with no additional charge. Our goal is to provide the most comprehensive instruction in aesthetic procedures.
Our core value is in providing quality training for professionals wishing to further their careers in aesthetic practices. We emphasize this core value with dedication to thorough lessons, knowledgeable and enthusiastic instruction and the use of the most current tools and training materials.
Meet the Team
Medical Director
Robert L Topkis, DO
Robert L. Topkis graduated from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with a B.A. in Business Management in 1991. He then followed his passion – medicine – by earning a medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996. Dr. Topkis then went on to advanced residency training specialized in Family Medicine, which he completed in 1999. Dr. Topkis joined his family practice and he is currently serving Bucks County, Pa as a family medicine physician and independent practitioner. He also has been acting as a preceptor for PA students, medical students, interns and residents for many years.
Dr. Topkis expanded his scope of practice to include aesthetic medicine after additional training completed in 2008. He has been able to combine his knowledge of medicine and aesthetics to help his patients achieve their goals in wellness, maintain their physical appearance, as well as achieve a high quality of life. Dr. Topkis has been trained in multiple aesthetic services and is certified in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, facial peels, and many advanced aesthetic treatments. Dr. Topkis’ combination of genuine warmth, unmatched honesty, and profound expertise makes him an experienced and invaluable medical director and resource for Prima Advanced Aesthetic Academy & Skincare.

Alicia Gillespie
Alicia Spor-Bonner graduated from Holy Family University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a B.A. in Neurobiology in 2004. She then followed her dream by earning a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia University in 2007. Alicia became board certified and then went on to advanced training specializing in Physical Medicine and pain management, which led to practice with neuromodulators. Alicia loved the hands-on aspect of injectables and combined this by expanding her knowledge of neuromodulators for Aesthetic purposes in 2008. She began practicing aesthetics on family and friends and then began her first med spa in 2012. In 2017, Alicia took a chance and opened a new mobile aesthetic business while continuing to work full time as a physician assistant. She continued to grow her Aesthetic practice knowledge and business over the years and currently owns and operates a large and growing med spa with continued mobile aesthetic services. Alicia is currently serving Bucks County, Pa as an aesthetic physician assistant and small business owner. She has been acting as a preceptor for aestheticians, nursing students, PA students, medical students, and physicians for many years now. She loves sharing her knowledge of all things aesthetics, health and beauty and Prima Advanced Aesthetics Academy & Skincare is allowing her to share on a larger platform.
Aesthetician Educator
Kelly Skierski
For as long as she can remember, Kelly has always been interested in all thing’s beauty. In 2001, she officially began her education journey by attending Jean Madeline Aveda Institute and received a top tier education in cosmetology. Upon completion, Kelly felt it was best to stay in school and complete the instructor program, the highest licensure in this field. A few years and some industry experience later, she was ready to come back and educate others full time.
For the last 20-ish years, Kelly has been consistently pursuing her craft and sharing her
knowledge with anyone who will listen. Her desire to never stop learning has led to earning
many advanced certifications over the years including advanced training in chemical peels, microdermabrasion, micro-needling, permanent makeup and more. These certifications paired with her experience in teaching rising talent in the beauty industry has made opening up an advanced aesthetics academy feel like a natural progression and a dream come true.
